Major high voltage assets have an expected life cycle of approximately 50 years, however the need to replace the associated protection and control devices is more frequent than this. Therefore, there is often a requirement to replace or upgrade the protection, control or other secondary systems without replacement of the primary plant.
Noble Power Solutions can undertake full turnkey protection replacement programs for our clients which includes the design of how new devices interface with existing equipment, isolation and decommissioning redundant protection devices, removal of redundant and installation of new cabling, modifications to existing panels, testing and commissioning of the new protection devices.

Protection settings backup services and strategy spares
One of the greatest risks to businesses is the loss of data and information.
The failure of a protection relay has the potential to shutdown part or of all of a high voltage installation and therefore it is imperative this is returned to service as quickly as possible. When a protection relay fails it is often not possible to recover the settings stored within it.
Noble Power Solutions offers clients a service to collate and backup their protection relays settings from across their site and store these securely in a cloud service and available for access at all times.
In addition to this, Noble Power Solutions can hold your strategic spare protection devices, with protection settings already applied and bench tested allowing for immediate replacement in the event of a relay failure on site.
