Project Overview
Noble Power Solutions was engaged through GE Grid Services to perform post refurbishment testing of Unit 1 Generator Step Up Transformer. Testing included insulation resistance, polarisation index, voltage ratio, winding resistance, dielectric loss angle of windings and bushings, sweep frequency response analysis and dielectric response analysis (IDAX).
Noble Power Solutions returned to site with GE Grid Services in April 2018 to perform testing of Unit 2 transformer as per the testing performed on Unit 1.
